As a SiteGround customer, you’ll find that we have made a few changes to the service that we believe will make your site more secure and reliable.
We’ve also added support for new SSL certificates, improved SSL-certificate signing, and a number of other enhancements.
With this new version, SiteGround has also added the ability to set a SSL certificate expiration date, as well as a new password hashing algorithm.
You can use these features to keep your site secure.
In addition, Siteground has added a new SSL-encrypted URL (URL shortener) that can be used to secure links and files on the SiteGround site.
SiteGround is also now offering SSL-only browsing for SiteGround Premium customers.
In addition, we’ve added support to our SSL-enabled site.
This includes automatic HTTPS encryption of your site’s pages, and the ability for your users to set their own SSL certificate.
Siteground is now also enabling SSL-disabled users to sign into their own site using a password instead of their browser’s public key.
This means that SiteGround will not log a user’s site for any of the HTTPS requests made to the site.
